Richard III

Richard III by William Shakespeare is one of his finest historical plays. The play portrays King Richard’s rise into power as a king through his wickedness and tracks his reign over England for a short span of time. On one hand where Shakespeare depicts the character of the protagonist as an anti-hero, he also shows him, on the other hand, in a positive light as Richard talks to the audience directly in the form of soliloquy at various instances.
