Las estrellas son el registro de la noche

Están perdidos en el desierto. Está nublado y oscureciendo.

Ella mira el cielo. Él hacia la tierra buscando algo. De pronto, se oscureció.

Las imágenes que acompañan al libro fueron realizadas sobre fragmentos de cintas magnetofónicas, con tinta blanca y negra, sobre papel Canson negro A4. Trozos de cinta que
se van transformando en constelaciones que representan nuestro comportamiento, nuestros vicios y virtudes; que al final terminan siendo polvo de palabras, materia cósmica.

Tomás Browne (1982, Chile) es artista visual. Desde 2017 vive en Oslo, Noruega.

She looks up at the sky. He looks down to the ground looking for something. Suddenly, it is dark.

These images were written on separate pieces of magnetic tape, with white and black ink, on black Canson A4, in 2013. They represent constellations that in some way refer to our behavior, to our vices and virtues, and they end up like “word dust”, cosmic matter.

Tomás Browne (1982, Chile) is a visual artist. Since 2017 he is living in Oslo.
